ACDSee Photo Studio Professional 2018 64-bit.If they fixed the color management issue, I think Editor 6 would make an excellent companion to ACDSee Pro, but right now, it's got a lot of unrealized potential.

There's a lot to like about Photo Editor 6 (Even though it's an older product, it has the best user interface for a true bit mapped editor I've seen), but I personally think other software products are a better fit as a companion editor to ACDSee Pro (at least you can get the color management results to match!). Otherwise, much of the functionality overlaps. Another thing that might be important for a newbie at least is that Editor 6 has a pretty good set of wizards to help with some of the more difficult stuff which is lacking in ACDSee Pro. I have tried several times to get them to match colors to no avail. Also, the two products don't seem to use the same color management.
Technically, Photo Editor 6 doesn't use them either, Instead Editor 6 uses a slightly different technology they call Objects, (which is a functional equivalent of Layers).
